It’s Been a Busy Summer

Well an awful lot has happened over the last few months so we thought we would give you all an update.

First we can now announce that Sir Wagalot is now a trademark name. We are the only dog walkers in the UK with this name and our trademark will ensure that continues

In addition Sir Wagalot and Dog Days and Holidays were the first two home boarders in Stockport to be issued with a home boarding license. This license was unavailable until we contacted the council and requested that they inspect our homes and issue a license in accordance with the 1963 animal boarding act.

We have also expanded, not only do we cover the Four Heatons and South Reddish, we now service Cheadle, Gatley and East and West Didsbury.

As you know Sir Wagalot works alongside Jo from Dog Days and Holidays, Jo and I do many of our walks together ensuring that all the dogs get to know us both – this is very handy if one of us is unavailable to ensure your dog is comfortable being walked by either of us.

We also have another three very important members of the team –

Mary has worked with us now since the beginning of the year. Mary has owned dogs all of her life and currently shares her life with Boycie a very handsome Chocolate Lab (oh and her husband and two children) Mary daycares some of our dogs with Boycies help. She also helps out on walks during the week as well as having the occasional holiday guest

Lesley volunteers with us, Lesley has owned dogs most of her life however is “inbetween dogs” at the minute. However she has some of our holiday guests staying with her, she ensures her guests get as good a holiday as their owners !

The latest member of the team is Becky who has come on board to help us cover Didsbury, Gatley and Cheadle. Becky has a wealth of experience with animals, as well as previously working at a daycare centre, she has also volunteered at Society for Abandoned Animals which is where she adopted her four “children” two lovely rescue dogs Riz & Tilly and her two Rabbits chocolate & Ginger. Whilst Becky will predominantly covers Didsbury, Gatley and Cheadle, both Jo and I will be getting to know all the dogs and Becky is being introduced to all our existing dogs. This means we are in the best position we can be to cover all our walks even if anyone is ill or on holiday.

We are a very small and close team and operate to ensure that your pets needs are met and their welfare is our priority.
